Enviroscientific® is the Lead & Verifying Environmental Audit Body for the South African Wine Industry
IPW consists of a set of guidelines specifying good agricultural practices related to grape production (farm component), as well as a set of guidelines specifying good manufacturing practices related to wine production (winery component) and packaging activities (bottling activities). Envirowines® is a pioneering concept that has been developed to encourage and give recognition to growers who produce grapes and wine through above average environmentally sustainable practices, showing optimum implementation of these practices in order to protect our environment. This is a distinction without additional costs. Registered in SA, USA and all EU countries (incl. the UK).
